League starter

You can made golemancer as your league starter but need to do few things:

  • Your starter build will be selfcast Arc Build, and you can switch to golemancer at lvl 40
  • You dont need to buy anything on market , you just pick items from the floor so u can keep currency for your primordial jewels.
  • You can easly do 10 acts + start doing maps without buying anything!
  • When u get currency for primordial jewels u refund points and u can start playing as a golemancer. Like i said u dont buy anything from market as a arc because u dont need to. You just keep your currency for primordials.

[3.8] Enki's Arc Elementalist - a beginner & SSF-friendly Lightning Caster

With this guide I want to provide a well-balanced caster build for beginners and veterans alike that scales well into endgame, has great mapping consistency and can even be played selffound.
Don't get confused by this guides age - i'm doing lots of work to keep it updated each patch, and i'm playing the build once in each new league to test its viability, and because it's fun.

  • + cheap & fully SSF-capable
  • + smooth gameplay & progression
  • + fully immune to reflected damage
  • + capable to do all bossfights & mapmods
  • - not as high DPS potential as some other builds
  • - requires good positioning and flask uptime
  • - Lightning has inconsistent damage output

[3.8] Fast Storm Brand Leveling Guide | League Starter | HC/SC

Hello, thanks for checking out this complete leveling guide for Storm Brand Elementalist. The purpose of this guide is to help players such as yourself to get through A1-A10 in much quicker times, especially useful at a league start when those that get to maps first often profit the most.

The guide provides 'Gem Links and/or sockets' sections to let you know of what your ideal gem setup looks like and will be included everytime there has been a gem or link change. At the end of each act (and before Merciless Labyrinth) there is a 'Passive Tree' section which includes a link to the official Path of Exile Passive Tree Planner, the name of the tree in Path of Building, and a handy little image if you don't want to use either.

Witch Necromancer

[3.8] PoE Raise Spectre Necromancer Build Best League Starter + Video Guide

[3.8] PoE Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer Build - Beginner/SSF/Budget

[3.8] PoE Raise Spectre Necromancer Build Best League Starter + Video Guide

  • + safe across most content. Bosses offscreening.
  • + extremely fast for map clearing
  • + around 70% potential Phys Damage Reduction (Basalt, Taste of Hate, etc)
  • + decent regen
  • + flexible, can stack a lot of block chance if needed
  • + great single target damage (around 3 million with Victario)
  • + much better than Zombies as you don't need to constantly resummon spectres, also you don't care if Skeletons die. So you effectively are PAIN-FREE.
  • + can go Energy Shield and 5-6 spectres too! POGCHAMP!
  • - Not super high sustain as we are running Vis Mortis with no life on it (around 7K for Uber Elder).
  • - Spectres are a pain to resummon if they die

What are Spectres?

By using Spectres you are effectively summoning real monsters to fight for you. They will use all attacks and spells they naturally have. As well as will become stonger with level.

In order to summon a desired monster you need a corpse of this monster, target a corpse with "A" and press Summon Spectre.

Spectres scale with a level of the "corpse" they were summoned from, so in order to get powerful spectres you will have to summon/resummon them in a higher and higher level zones using Desecrate skill to recreate their corpses. I explained everything in the FAQ section below how to do it.
So.

You will summon 4 strong Spectres who will obliterate screens and screens around, while you zoom across the screen with your Shield Charge. Literally 1 minute clears...
For bosses we will have 9-10 skeletons who will Taunt the boss himself and monsters around as well as Blind them on hit and distract and annoy the hell out of everyone. And they don't need corpses too. And we don't care if they die... EZ PZ.

[3.8] PoE Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer Build - Beginner/SSF/Budget

In poe 3.8, summon has been greatly improved. If you choose to summon as your league starter, this Raise Zombie Necromancer Build will be a good choice. You do not have to spend currency, you do not have to be good at the game, you really do not have to do anything special. All bosses (up to and including Shaper) just melt. Easy And Cheap

  • + The easiest million DPS build you'll ever make.
  • + Cheap
  • + Entirely physical damage, so no issues with high boss elemental resistances.
  • + Fast movement
  • + Decently tanky
  • + No spectres necessary
  • + Can do all content and all map mods
  • + Surprisingly good at lab running
  • - Clear speed isn't going to be quite as good as screen-clearing spectres or golems, especially if you don't have Fear jewelry.
  • - A couple of bosses just melt your minions instantly and are basically impossible for the build. Atziri trio are the worst offenders.
  • - Have to level as a different build (SRS) unless you have access to twinking gear.

All gems should be levelled to 20 unless otherwise specified.

Summon Skeleton, Minion Damage, Brutality, Melee Physical Damage, Maim, Ruthless

Skeletons are your main source of damage. Gems are listed in order of importance, so for example if you're on a 5L drop Ruthless. Once you have a 6L and your skeletons are doing excessive amounts of damage, you can switch out Ruthless for Melee Splash while clearing (and switch Ruthless back in for hard bosses). It speeds up your clear and stops your minions from getting overwhelmed by large numbers of mobs. You don't need the Vaal version, but you should try to get one as soon as possible and use it against bosses or hard monsters.

Raise Zombie, Brutality, Melee Physical Damage, Minion Damage or Empower

Zombies provide a valuable source of pack clear with their AoE slam, tank hits with their larger life pool, and supplement your damage. This should be socketed in your helm to take advantage of either a + minion gem level mod or Elder mods. Empower should only be used if you're using an Elder helm that grants Minion Damage already. You can get a level 4 Empower if you really have money to burn.

Shieled Charge, Faster Attacks, Fortify

Movement.

Flesh Offering, Increased Duration, Flame Dash

Flesh Offering is a big damage buff. Try and keep it up as much as possible. Flame Dash is just handy to get over gaps and walls.

Vulnerability, Curse On Hit Support, Ball Lightning, Culling Strike Support

Curse, minion direction and culling. No point in levelling Ball Lightning or Culling Strike. You can manually cast Vulnerability if you prefer, give up the culling, and leave sockets open for something else (e.g. Immortal Call).

Desecrate, Clarity, Summon Stone Golem, Cast when Damage Taken Support

Extra stuff. Desecrate helps you keep Flesh Offering up against bosses and get back dead zombies. Stone Golem provides much needed regen — you absolutely don't have to use it with CwDT

Witch Occultist

[3.8] PoE Bane Occultist League Starter Build - League Start/SSF Viable

[HC/SC] Lahkesis Queen of Chaos"Essence Drain/Contag/Bane"

[3.8] PoE Bane Occultist League Starter Build - League Start/SSF Viable

  • + Beginner and League Starter Friendly.
  • + Never reroll a map.
  • + Mind over Matter. Eldritch Battery.
  • + Not that many buttons to press.
  • - Uniques. A couple uniques really "turn on" this build for the endgame. Devouring Diadem and Vixen's Entrapment aren't 100% required to get this build off the ground but I will mention how some of the interactions of these items can make it easier to tackle the endgame.

This is a beginner-friendly, league-starter viable, solo-self-found viable, and comprehensive Bane Occultist guide. The leveling section in this guide is meant to take players with a fresh install or in a fresh league and get them into maps and started on a powerful character. Interested readers can find gear priority, stat suggestions, mechanics explanations, and a whole bunch of links that might be useful for newer players.

[HC/SC] Lahkesis Queen of Chaos"Essence Drain/Contag/Bane" [All Content]

  • + Very High Damage output
  • + Decently tanky, safe to play
  • + Do Any map Mod Can do reflect and no leech maps without problems and most other mods (no regen map mod requires mana flask)
  • + All Content
  • + HC Viable
  • + Insane Amount of Health Regen
  • + Fast Clear speed, fun playstyle Watching mobs die a Screen away
  • + League starting is very possible
  • + Great boss killer, can do any boss
  • - Cannot reliably do no-regen maps, mana flask and clunkier playstyle
  • - Can be vulnerable to porcupines in maps (monsters that shoot spikes on death) and requires extra caution to play around them.
  • - Not quite beginner-friendly and takes time to learn all mechanics and gearing in the build
  • - Min-maxing with double corruptions is very expensive for high-end gear

Defensive Stats

The following stats do not include helmet enchantments like Enfeeble has 30% increased curse effect, assume players do not have their curse effects reduced as a map mod and monsters do not have any bonus damage map mods and the hits from monters do not deal critical strikes.

Total Curse Effect: 40% increase from skill tree + 25% increase from Ascendancy + 10% Blasphemy 20 quality = 75% increased curse effect for all curses

Physical damage reduction:

Basalt flask (15%) + 3 endurance charges (12%) + Lunaris pantheon (assume 8% at max) + Enfeeble (47% or 23%) = 65% physical damage reduction

Offensive Stats

Essence Drain can reach 3-4 million Shaper DoT and the hit damage can be ~ 150k Shaper DPS on average (which kills a lot of monsters before the DoT applies) with min-maxed gear. Other than that 500k- 1 million Shaper DoT is achievable with a multi-craft bow to do all contents.

Bane can reach 1.5 million Shaper DoT with min-maxed gear. If not, a few hundred thousand Shaper DoT is possible and enough for all contents.
